in 1971, we have grown into a large, financially sound, independent
exploration and production company with more than 1200 employees.
Based on worldwide gas production, we are in the top 20 of
the independent exploration & production companies based
in the United States.
Our worldwide operations originate from our headquarters in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and include key oil and gas regions in North America, as well as interests in the North Sea. Additional regions are under review for possible investment are Latin America, Australia, Southeast Asia, and Western Europe. We are proud of a corporate culture which emphasizes

Our rock-solid foundation of properties produces
significant cash flow. With an energy asset base of 89%
natural gas, the Company steadily continues to profit and
expand. In the last three years, we have invested more than
$4 billion in new drilling and oil and gas property acquisitions.
Fiscal year 2008 plans call for drilling commitments in
excess of $1.5 billion. We continue to seek new drilling
and acquisition opportunities.
In addition, Samson maintains lines of credit with a network of United States and European banks. These resources enable us to rapidly deploy significant capital for an aggressive drilling and property acquisition program, thus empowering us to expand our scope of operations.
